REHABILITATION
We have developed , a virtual reality software available in the Meta store for Quest, Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets. These portable devices are little larger than a pair of glasses and require no cables or additional technology.
Rehabilitation professionals use Thera to guide their patients through exercises performed in immersive scenarios, but always in a safe and controlled manner. These possibilities offered by virtual reality represent a motivating and fun rehabilitation approach that is more engaging than conventional therapy.
Our aim is not to replace traditional therapy but to deliver to practitioners a complementary tool that opens the door to countless rehabilitation scenarios.
RESEARCH
Virtual reality is rapidly growing in fields such as psychology and neuroscience research due to its ability to create realistic and controlled experimental environments.
Through a computer programmed simulation and VR helmets, researchers can immerse participants in detailed virtual scenarios or manipulate physics laws to gather behavioral and physiological data, taking advantage of a more natural environment than traditional screen-based tasks. And the technology offers such creative flexibility in designing new experimental paradigms, to be currently limited only by the programming and modeling skills of researchers.
Thanks to the neuroscience background, our team develops VR software for scientific paradigms creation and integrate kinematics, hand tracking, EEG, EMG, and eye tracking technologies for a complete, immersive experience.
VR & EEG: NEUROFEEDBACK
The VR headsets equipped with our software provide advanced features for neuroscientific research and integration with data acquisition systems. Thanks to the implementation of wireless LabStreaming Layer (LSL), our standalone devices can send EEG triggers in real time for any type of event, enabling precise synchronization between the VR experience and brain signal recording. It is possible to track and mark specific events such as the object viewed (via eye-tracking), the object touched (via hand-tracking), environmental interactions, and any other relevant actions. This approach enables more accurate studies on attention, perception, and cognitive response, opening new possibilities for research in neuroscience, psychology, and education.
In partnership with BrainSigns and BrainProducts, our platform uses Mindtooth, a next-generation wearable EEG system validated in real operational environments.
SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS
Myndek supports scientific research through the Thera app and its virtual reality scenarios, providing advanced tools for studying cognitive, behavioral, and neuroscientific processes.
